I would highly recommend Dan.I was losing my hair and decided I wanted to shave it off and have SMP. From the start, there was never any hard sell or pressure from Dan. He genuinely wanted to make sure it was the right decision for me. During the consultation, he was very informative and explained the whole process clearly.During the treatment itself, Dan made me feel very comfortable. Strongest possible recommendation for Dan and Scalp Perfect. I approached him a few months ago knowing I was bothered about my hair loss but no 100% sure I wanted to go ahead with SMP. Dan gave me exactly what I needed: a neutral, expert, non-pressurised assessment and discussion. I got a clear sense of what would happen and what I could expect the final product to look like. He even sneaked in a bit of counselling, checking in with me about whether I planned to tell friends and family.The work was done over 2 full and one short session. Definitely not painful, and enjoyable chat throughout. A completely open door to assess how the SMP has settled in and what additional work could be done. The finished product is excellent, complete natural looking and I felt I was in very safe hands.I’m sure you will find SMP cheaper, and also much more expensive. But I find it hard to imagine you’ll find a more expert and personal service than Dan @ scalp perfect.

The density and finish he achieved look completely natural, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.I don’t usually write reviews, but SMP has genuinely been life changing for me. For years I worried about my hair, or lack of it, and spent ages hiding under caps and hats. My confidence was really low, and after doing a huge amount of research, I realised how important it was to find the right artist who could make it look natural.After looking at more than twenty clinics, I came across Scalp Perfect and instantly noticed how realistic Daniel’s work looked. I booked a consultation, and from the first chat, I could tell he genuinely cared about what he does. There was no sales pitch, just an honest conversation about what was possible and what to expect.The studio is clean, modern and comfortable, with a comfy treatment chair, tv and good music. The session was surprisingly relaxing, I even nearly nodded off at one point.When I saw the final result, I was amazed. My head now has a completely natural shaved look and realistic density. I contemplated having SMP for quite some time despite being comfortable being follically challenged, I looked at a number of places offering this treatment and Scalp Perfect for me anyhow stood out. The owner Dan is a consummate professional and has a background in hairdressing. He is an absolute perfectionist and not only invests time with the initial consultation he ensures you get what ultimately looks right, is age appropriate but it is a two way street and he will work with you to reach a sensible end result. The process itself is carried out over three stages, four visits if you include the consultation, it’s not painful, probably best described as minor discomfort and my experience was just that you can relax and go with it, there is tv, music and of course Dan himself who I found to be an easy going and interesting, we certainly put the world to rights. As for the end result I am extremely happy with what he has provided, I found myself being immediately comfortable with my new look, what’s great is that it is so natural looking that to my surprise a lot of my friends didn’t even pass comment other than to say I looked well. Those that knew I was having SMP treatment all said it looked great, you cannot ask for more than that. As far as I am concerned the investment in changing your look is money well spent. I am so glad I was not swayed by distance to travel, cost etc and actually made an informed decision and went down the right path. If you are thinking about having SMP then give Dan at Scalp Perfect a shout, pop in for a free no pressure consultation and go from there, I would not hesitate recommending Scalp Perfect to anyone.

Found Dan by recommendation through a friend of a friend. Started getting alopecia after losing two close family members. Initially had SMP from a company in Swindon who came highly recommended. This was my second time having SMP with Daniel to cover fue transplant scars. The last time was about 5 years ago and the pigmentation had only faded a little bit since then, but I wanted a top up so that I could continue to have my hair shaved really short on the sides and back. I also had a few pigments put into my beard this time to make it look thicker, which has worked a treat. I can’t recommend this service enough. Daniel is very knowledgeable and skilled and explains everything clearly whilst setting realistic expectations before starting. The result is nothing short of incredible and has given me my confidence back after having a slightly over harvested doner area from my original hair transplant. He is also extremely fair on price, unlike a lot of the other clinics in and around London which I have looked into. Once again I’m extremely happy with the result and will continue going back to Daniel for top ups in future every 5-10 years.

First up, Dan is a consummate professional. His studio is immaculate. There is no hard sell with Dan. He is not pushy, no hard sell, giving you time to make up your mind, that this is the right decision for you, and just wants to make sure that you are happy with the whole experience. I had three sessions in total. I was really pleased after the first session. The effect was noticeable for me and any concerns I had about redness were unnecessary as that was gone after the first day. The effect has been ‘subtle’. I have the look I was after and looking in the mirror, it’s hard to tell where the SMP starts and my hair follicles end. I really recommend Dan, really happy with his work.
